We recently went on a roadtrip north to the Central Coast in search of gin-spiration from the award-winning team at Distillery Botanica, to bring back to the Bodhi kitchen.
It's no secret that we thrive on the opportunity to get out and about, try new things and meet new people. These discoveries help fuel our creativity, injecting fresh ideas and inspiration into our team, which then translates to new flavours, produce and techniques on a plate.
We recently travelled to boutique Distillery Botanica on the NSW Central Coast to meet owner and master distiller Philip Moore to learn more about one of our favourite gins on the Bodhi menu, Moore's Dry Gin (named after the man himself).
Philip kindly took us on a private tour of the distillery, set among three acres of beautiful fragrant gardens growing ingredients and produce which inspires the gins made on-site.
We were so inspired by the botanicals and flavours in his hand-crafted spirits and liqueurs, that we created several gin-infused vegan recipes on the spot!
Take a look at what we came up with in the beautiful gardens of the distillery:
We are also giving away an incredible gin-infused prize of a private tour and tasting at the distillery for two people, plus a bottle of gin. Enter here before the competition closed on 26 June 2020.
